Finance: My energy supplier has just written

and told me they are moving me to a monthly direct debit

 I dont want this, any one know a company where i can pay on receipt of bill still

    Did not think they were allowed to put you on direct debit without permission, only other option is to go to a pre payment meter, essentially paying for what you use, when you use it, and not lining the companies pockets each month with astronomical interst and profits on their accounts.
