Hints & Tips: Is there any downside to telling a suspected scammer to F OFF & DIE?
Sick to death of phone scammers claiming to be from "securities" or "credit control" or "fraud" departments
Immediately you answer the phone there are several clues that tell you the person at the other end is nothing more than a scammer.
I'm not going to publish (to them) what those clues are but will supply to interested members on request
Some clues are ACCENT, DELAY, EXCESSIVE BACKGROUND NOISE and/or FAMILIARITY
Consider this:
If you DO happen to get a genuine caller and - after accusing them of being a scammer - you bid them an abusive farewell then the genuine caller would react accordingly whilst the scammer is more likely to retaliate

Is it OK to assume all cold callers are scammers and react accordingly
