Saving money and electrical usage have never been more attractive than in these times of escalating fuel costs.

So adverts for a plug-in "VOLTBOX" that "can significantly reduce your electrical usage" [and bills] are bound to be attention-catching.

They convincingly explain and illustrate how the VOLTBOX can somehow make the power supply less fuzzy [and therefore more efficient]

DO NOT BE FOOLED!

I'm an electrician and can assure you this is a total waste of your money
even the principle they are selling this waste of money item on is false
how can you cut electricity use from £250 to £25 by plugging this item in?
in fact it will cost you more as you're plugging in an extra device
so will in fact cost you you more money through running this item
and it runs very HOT so may in fact cause a fire
be safe and save your money
