Trump.D Diary : W/E Fri 17th Feb 2017

The days are flying by - hardly time to read all the very, very, very, very dishonest news items and let people hear the truth through my Tweets.

What a week this has been!

Foreign leaders have been in and out as if on a conveyor belt.  Shinzo was good company and we could at least agree a mutual commitment to peace and concerns over N. Korea

Justin Troudeau seems nice enough despite an almost masonic handshake and he never commented on my frustrated travel ban so I read that as his absolute agreement with what I was trying to achieve.

It seems there may be an alternative to the delays of a Supreme Court hearing - I can just keep issuing new travel bans at a rate faster than the so-called judges can suppress them cool  All i need to do is alter a word or two each time.  I do like the sound of that.

The very dishonest press don't have the balls to admit their very dishonest ways and are dredging up whatever sensationalism they can to increase their ailing circulations.  This time they rounded on my good friend Flynn - a wonderful, wonderful man - for just having a goddam conversation with the Russians.  OK so strictly speaking he shouldn't have done that but this country will never get back on top if it keeps harping on about every last little detail.

A case in point is Kellyanne.   All she said in a throwaway comment was that she was gonna go buy Ivanka's stuff.  That's her choice and simply demonstrates good taste in my view.  But because of the niggling detail that it was said from a Whitehouse platform then all the busybodies tried to make an enormous stink out of honest mistake.  So we just said she had been "counselled" and that stole much of their thunder.  Of course we didn't say by whom and in what regard but I know Kellyanne appreciated Ivanka's personal advice.

Isn't it enough that I had to cut my business ties without expecting Ivanka to do the same?  Bad enough that Nordstrom and others have unfairly turned against her as a direct result of very, very, very unfair and dishonest reporting.   I wish people would just follow my Tweets and cut out all these dishonest middlemen.  After all, who is gonna know the real truth if not the guy at the top?

Benjamin Netanyahu popped over for a chat.  Now there's a man with taste in ties.  He's still looking for a 2-state solution but I ask you: if we haven't achieved that in all these years isn't it time for change?  That was my campaign slogan after all so I've planted the seed that maybe there needs to be another way.  With Iran being the big bad wolf of the region then maybe it's about time we got Israel-Palestine wrapped up and delivered.

Thursday saw a public "day without immigrants" demonstration in an attempt to prove the value of immigrants to the US economy.  The media say that many businesses closed but we all know how dishonest they can be and I can honestly say that I felt no ill-effects whatsoever.  So who're you gonna believe?

I though this would be a good day to give the press a piece of my Presidential mind. Firstly because I wanted to see how many (immigrants) were gonna be missing and secondly because I'm sick of all their dishonest reporting and thought the best way to get the truth out there was to hold a press conference....so they could report that.  They really don't know what to make of me - the first really honest man in the White House - and it rattles them...and I enjoy giving them as good - and better - than they can dish out.

The point I really wanted to make is that this administration is running like a fine-tuned machine.  Admittedly a few critical bits have fallen off and the oil's running critically low at times but once again those are nit-picking details that neither they nor the public should be worrying themselves about.

They claim we're at an all-time low in popularity polls at only 39% but what does that mean coming from such very, very dishonest - and we know they're dishonest - sources?

Polls can be rigged just like the pre-election polls that had us as certain losers.  Well we showed them then and we'll show them now.  And even if the polls are accurate, I'm nowhere near having to worry about popularity more than keeping my election promises.  I said it, they voted and now - so-called judges notwithstanding - I'm doing it.

I inherited a real mess and good medicine isn't always tasty but if it isn't popular then everyone's to blame - except me.
