THEY always try to make something out of nothing. If nothing else it's a great example to Amaerican industry. It's been a Fake up, wake up, make up and shake up kind of a week.
I sometimes think this administration is spending more time at the Supreme Court than at the White House. The terms of the travel ban were sorted until Judge Watson's district ruling. We shoulda defined "bona fide family ties" in WIki and then he couldn't have included grandparents and a host of other hangers-on.
And now another so-called judge has decided we have to reveal the guest list for my Winter White-House (Mar-a-Lago). OK so Obama had the same issues with CREW but isn't it about tome the courts had a rest and let us just govern this country back to greatness?
Speaking of which it's about time Congress got behind my election promises to repeal Obamacare. I don't care who has to cancel their vacation to get it done but there's a job to do and they're there to do it!. We want to stand by our election promises and it's a big deal when I can't even rely on my own party to carry through.
OK so they didn't do it! It's no great problem. We can just let Obamacare fail as it always would and then a replacement will be an outright necessity.
Now THEY are raising a fuss about some casual conversation between myself and Vlad (Putin) at the G20. I was there to speak to any and all world leaders for heaven's sake! Vlad and I have a number of hot topics - the election rumours - those emails - the impounded Russian diplomats' estates and not least of all world peace! THEY want to make something of it just because it wasn't opened to the press corps for yet another handshake photo. Get real! It's just a coincidence that I've now withdrawn support for the Syrian rebels. I said I'd do that even before the election.
The whole Russia circus rolls on and I think Jeff Sessions has been somewhat unfair to me in his handling of it. I do kind of regret that appointment but there's to be no firing this time - that would bring another black cloud to the storm. I just need to remind him which team has the bat. It's annoying enough that Donald Jr., Jared and Paul Manafort are to be questioned about ... 3 guesses? - Russia of course!
And now I suppose THEY'll cook up some Russian link to Mark Corallo's resignation when it's just part of a routine shake-up. Anthony Scaramucci's coming in as the new Communications Director and Sean Spicer has decided to quit.... well, I just hope he gets THAT announcement right!
