Why's everybody picking on me?` What's this about frog impressions???
How come nobody at the FBI's concerned about investigating the wiretapping that's now been publicly exposed but then James Comey announces that they will investigate the alleged Russian hacking!!! Isn't this a bit one-sided? Goddam it, Manafort's tenure isn't gonna help matters either.
Now Forbes have got me down 220 as 544th richest in the world.
With Neil Gorsuch's appointment facing opposition, the only good news this week so far is Eric & Lara's announcement - 9th due grandchild by September!
My week hinged on the health bill and we couldn't even raise a convincing Republican support, let alone the Democrats (who of course are totally at fault). Nothing left to do but withdraw the bill and put a brave face on it rather than face an actual defeat.
Washington always reckons it's a good thing to be owed a favor - especially by the President. There's a substantial number who are owed something else now...
So we say we're making it better and even more convincing but the words stick in my throat and I have to force them out of pursed lips. This apparently is a common reaction on my part but someone's suggested it makes me look like I'm doing a frog impression! Surely not?
