Trump.D Diary : W/E Fri 31st March 2017
Obamacare's doomed - even more than any one of my frustrated directives. The Republican Freedom Caucasus and the Democrats will come to realize what their pettiness has caused.
With healthcare reform shelved for now there's nothing to do but focus on tax reform and hope that the Republican Renegades and the more intelligent Democrats put the country's benefit ahead of pointless political points posturing.
While everyone's so would up about the fake news of Russian interference with our election, maybe they should look at the Clintons' record - didn't they benefit from supplying uranium to Russia. I'm not making any direct accusations of course - just saying what I've heard... While I'm on that subject, Mike Flynn should have immunity from the Russian Witchhunt - not just because he's one of my guys but because the whole thing's gotten out of hand and very partisan. Vladimir is a robust leader and an intelligent negotiator. With that in common, we understand where each other is coming from. End of story.
Whatever happened to any real investigation of the Obama wiretapps?? These selective investigations are utterly disgusting and irresponsible.
I'm all for women's empowerment and for women taking a role in business and/or politics - doesn't Ivanka's role prove the skeptics completely wrong on that!? Melania and I even met with the Women's Empowerment Panel this week where I clearly stated my support for their mission. The trouble with a lot of women - especially those with flat-chest syndrome - is they can't take a joke so there was a totally unjustified backlash on Twitter with a parade of paranoid women holding up placards to undermine my position by quoting some of my more flippant campaign comments. Get real ladies! Not every woman is a Princess!!
Good to see the NYT is still going down. Fake journalism deserves all the bad luck it can get and it just creates a stink for the hell of it.
Talking of stink, the travel ban ban's been extended again, there's organized opposition to my pipeline directive and now the tree-huggers are getting twisted about me ending Obama's war on coal. No wonder this country's in a state when there's always someone who wants to litigate against every attempt at a step forward in getting America great again. America became great by exploiting its resources - human and natural - and trying to protect the environment for future millennia is just too short-sighted. We have coal today, we should burn coal today and let someone else worry about the next Presidency.
At least Ford are planning investment n their Michigan operations and that's something the naysayers can't block and the fake journo's can't lie about. And nobody could block Ivanka's role in the Whitehouse - all they could do was demand we make it official. Sometimes - just sometimes - a plan comes together and I just love it when that happens. So now I have Ivanka and Jared on staff and this is gradually turning into a proper family business - something I really know works. It's worked well enough for the Cosa Nostra and the cartels so this is how America can start to compete.
Xi has shown great respect for the 1st family and I look forward to meeting him again at Mar-a-Logo .... perhaps he'll take a leaf out of Shinzo's book and I could be presented with a gold putter this time? Seriously though, putter or no putter, we will have some things to thrash out if we're to reduce the US trade deficit and increase jobs further. The Chinese are legendary gamblers - I wonder if I dare bet a negotiating point on the outcome of a golf hole? There are worse ways to negotiate.....
