Whenever I pass a pug I am struck by their cuteness but mainly by their CONSTANT STRUGGLE TO BREATH!
Pugs and other breeds with abnormally short snouts are condemned to snore and snort throughout their entire lives
Isn't this cruel?
Crufts and other dog shows are not about promoting god healthy specimens but actually encourage "aesthetic" genetic deformities that reduce the quality of life and often shorten the lifespan of the breed in question.
Isn't it time that genuine animal lovers spoke up for these innocent creatures and to shame rather than celebrate bredding deformity?
